Hi
everyone! I'm Ashley, owner of Roots of Rose Bodywork. I am so glad you found
your way to my website and my practice.
The
name Roots of Rose was inspired by my great grandmother, Rose Gove. She has
planted deep roots for her family after to her to continue to flourish as she
has. At 90 years old she will still pamper you as she always has. Many of my
sessions come with pampering, and I will continue to add self-care services as
my business grows.
The
rose, for me, also symbolizes the journey toward inner peace. After having met
the long stems with thorns, you are rewarded with a beautiful flower with
mesmerizing fragrances. Roses act as a metaphor for life: After overcoming
difficulty, you will find inner harmony, union, and happiness.
Let me help you overcome life’s difficulties.
Whether it be muscle aches and pains, migraines, difficulty sleeping, stress,
anxiety, the list goes on.. I’m here to help!
I
am currently a student at Zardus School of Massage and will be graduating in
May 2023. I found my way to massage school after working in many different
settings, predominantly in the mental health field. I have my Bachelor's Degree
in Health Sciences. I have worked as a Behavioral Health Professional, Ed Tech
III, and a Children's Case Manager. Most recently I was a daycare teacher, then
was able to enjoy some time as a stay-at-home-mom - one of the toughest jobs
I've endured!
My year in massage school was truly a
transformative time. I learned the immense importance of self-care and
self-love. I learned how to work with my own energy as well as others'. I
learned how to inspire healing through different modalities of bodywork. My
mission is to share all that I've learned with those who wish to receive it.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
